BMW G310R is the motorcycle that enthusiast have been looking forward too will have segment best performance and practicality.
BMW is all set to come out with their first ever single cylinder middle-weight quarter litre offering in the market soon. The motorcycle is being made with TVS in conjunction as the need for a factory and lineup was needed. The motorcycle will make its debut in the month of October 2016. BMW is all set to create more models on the same platform using the same engine and chassis while everything will suit roles as per scheduled models.
BMW G310R Design and colors
It’s a sleek, slightly long motorcycle with a good amount of muscle and bulges in the panels that sit on the chassis. The design is quite sporty and true European tradition as it has an odd headlamp. Color scheme for now such as blue and white with graphics makes it stand out. It does look unique, fresh and very premium for which the brand is known for. A black and golden is the second option to choose from.
BMW G310R India Launch Date
Showcased at 2016 Auto Expo and before that in various international Auto Expos, the motorcycle was shown on the day of Diwali in the year 2015 and will be launched in Diwali 2017.
BMW G310R Chassis, suspension and brakes
A twin tube frame seen on most motorcycles in this category can be seen. Trellis type chassis which is suspended by upside down forks at front and adjustable monoshock at the rear. Brakes wise we get radial disc at the front and four pot fixed calipers at the front and single piston, floating caliper as the rear along with ABS as standard. Michelin tyres can be seen on the bikes as well. Solid die-cast aluminum swingarm is also seen on the motorcycle.

Priced will start from 2.4-2.6 lakhs ex-showroom prices nationwide which still makes it good value as it comes under the Rs.3 lakh mark on road.
BMW G310R India Engine and Mileage
The engine is an all new grounds up unit started from the scratch. The 313cc engine makes 34 BHP and 28 Nm of torque from its liquid-cooled, 4-valve, DOHC, fuel injected motor. With a weight of 155 kgs it gives a good amount of power to weight ratio and torque to weight ratio as well, which should make it fun to ride and a performance oriented motorcycle. Expect a fuel efficiency claim of 25-30 km/l and will deliver around 35 km/l on highways, which makes it great for touring with subtle amount of tank range.
