BS6 TVS Apache RTR 200 Spied For The First Time. We expect the motorcycle to get more power through fuel injection and be emission compliant at the same time
2020 TVS Apache RTR 200 4v BS6 fuel injected, phew, has been spied for the first time. Fuel injection is the way forward for all motorcycles be it 110cc or anything above it. Meeting the strict emission norms requires technology and TVS has it already ready. TVS Apache RTR 200 4v is already selling the fuel injected version in the Indian market with slightly more and torque over the carburetor variant. We expect this to be taken a step further. The overall engine has been great, but it could do with more power, said every enthusiast post the launch of this bike back in 2015.
If not, hope TVS has something in the 250cc, which fits between this and RR310 to provide the same. For now, we can see the motorcycle gets a brand new headlight with new DRL in the lower part which will be standard and the highlight of the new design of the motorcycle. Engine discussed, we expect the gearbox to stay at 5-speeds only. 6-Speed is welcome though.
Slipper clutch and ABS are already found and they will make it to this motorcycle as well, very likely. Expect a jump over Rs 5,000 over the current fuel injected version. Slightly revised LED tail-light, LED main headlamp, different side panel, and rear cowl could be on offer as well. This current spyshot doesn’t allow much to be revealed.
