French carmaker Citroen is all set to play in the major league in the Indian auto market. While the C5 Aircross, the brand’s first offering in India, was more of a brand builder, the C3 is a premium hatchback and specially designed for the Indian market. Citroen says the C-Cubed architecture-based model will get over 90 per cent local content and prices will be extremely competitive. It also benefits from SUV styling which further improves its chances of doing some healthy volumes. But Citroen is all about giving a host of options to customers and the C3 will come with four customisation packs that buyers can opt for. What are these packs and what do they have to offer? Let’s take a look.
Convenience Pack:
The Convenience Pack adds some essential accessories including mud flaps, a trunk mat and floor carpet mats. The C3 also gets a leather steering wheel cover, rear windshield blind and window sun blinds. There are neck pillows, seat cushions and even a seatbelt cushion as well.
Vibe Pack:
The Citroen C3 with the Vibe Pack gets some important features and cosmetic enhancements too. This includes fog lamps, orange fog lamp surrounds, side moulding and orange surround on the rear bumper reflector.
Elegance Pack:
If you opt for the Elegance Pack on the Citroen C3, it will come with chrome trims on the front and rear bumpers and side moulding. There’s also a premium touch with the chrome door handles, chrome window beltline and more chrome on the taillights.
Energy Pack:
If you are feeling a bit more energetic, let the Citroen C3 Energy Pack reflect the same with the front and rear skid plates, a roof spoiler, door visors on the windows and wheel arch cladding.
Accessories on the Citroen C3:
The C3 is being positioned as a funky offering it will have accessories galore. Some of them include
● Bumper corner protectors
● Car cover
● Engine guard
● Door edge and doorsill guards
● Dual-USB charger
● Rear seat organiser
● Jump starter

Citroen India is also offering a 2-DIN audio system with speakers as an accessory on the base variants along with a parcel tray and alarm. Customers can also add a rear camera harness to add an aftermarket reverse camera to the hatchback.
That said, pricing will be crucial on the Citroen C3 and with so many features available as accessories, we do expect a low starting price with a host of add-on options.
