Dominar 400 Commercial Is ‘almost’ the Indian version of the Yamaha’s advertisement for MT range of motorcycle.

Remember the advert or the brand anthem that Yamaha came up for the MT motorcycles that were launched in the year 2013. It was called the Dark Side Of Japan. Yamaha used a lot of night footage, underground passes, tunnels and showcased bikes have fun in the night in a typical quirky Japanese way while adding a lot of gothic material to the script. Japan is famous for night racing culture and had tried to showcase the ‘Dark side of Japan’ which is a Myth amongst many in the country and even worldwide.

Home grown brand Bajaj Auto always had a had a very witty way of challenging its Japanese competitors, atleast when it comes to commercials. Products, needless to say are much more attractive proposition every single time. Remember the Hunto campaign that Bajaj started as it wittingly compared the Pulsar brand sales being much higher than the Japanese competition by a huge margin.

Bajaj has done it again and this time it is with the Dominar 400. Look at videos posted below and they have a close look at the Dominar 400 official TVC. Bajaj has silently showcased many aspects that take on the particular Yamaha commercial. The Japanese sign board, the sleeping Asian watchguard, the fonts that are used to say “Only Babies sleep at the night” and “Dominate the night” are also mimic the Japanese in a way.

All of this actually makes one realize that this almost is a parody video of the original unit. Only this time there are two major motorcycles giant that are fighting it out rather than two startups crying out loud at each other. Interestingly the video also seems to be shot in some Asian country too, which probably looks like Thailand, looking at the number plate of the first motorcycle.

Needless to say the Dominar 400 official TVC is yet again one of the very best that has come from the Pune based manufacturer. A place where company doesn’t fail to pump adrenaline and bring excitement in the masses. This time the conception is very strong in multiple ways.

Dominar 400 official TVC comes way before time this time around. Bajaj’s TVC usually roll out post after months of launch. Bajaj is being extremely bullish on sales figures and the success of the brand which will follow with more motorcycles under the Dominar range (You heard this here first). Bajaj aims to be a billion dollar brand with the Dominar range.

Coming back to the commercial, Bajaj has used a terrifying sweet voice in the background while the bikes whilst around town making noise, which, quite frankly, doesn’t belong to the bikes. There are some comments on the Youtube video which says its all. The video is going viral very rapidly, within 12 hours of launch, the video has 2.2 million hits. All said and done, Dominar 400 is priced beyond belief and has the go and show on paper. We cannot wait to test ride it!
