Ducati is all set to offer prospective buyers a new entry-level motorcycle in its product lineup, called Multistrada V2. The new tourer bike will replace the Multistrada 950 which is available in two different variants with the standard V2 and V2 S costing customers Rs 14.65 lakh and Rs 16.65 lakh respectively. The bike receives some updates including upgrades to the existing 937 cc L-twin engine putting out 111 bhp@ 9000 rpm and 94 Nm@6750 rpm respectively.

Ducati has made some serious efforts to reduce the curb weight of the bike and as a result, Multistrada V2 is 5 kg lighter than the bike it replaces. The top variant V2 S gets the Ducati skyhook semi-active suspension system with a range of new colors to choose from. Specifically attractive Multistrada V2 S in Slate grey color will be available from a price of Rs 16.84 lakh (ex-showroom) and feature the GP red rims as a part of the package. In this price comparison review, we pit the upcoming Multistrada V2 against its rivals and find out how this new Ducati fares against others on the price point.
