Ducati XDiavel India Launch showcases the brand’s dedication towards the country as it launches product as soon as it can after the international launch
Ducati India is on a roll. Launching products one after the other in every segment means two things. Increasing market share against the competition and giving enthusiast what they demand. The XDiavel has already become as it winning design and performance awards with its unique offering. Ducati has just done that in India and the XDiavel comes to India at a price tag which makes it accessible enough for enthusiast around the country. We have details of the motorcycle. Rs. 15.9 Lakhs For the Standard Variant and Rs. 18.9 Lakhs for the S variant.
Ducati and modern-day motorcycles come with electronics and Ducati XDiavel is no exception. Host of electronic aids include Riding modes, Ducati Safety Pack (Bosch cornering ABS + Traction Control), Ducati Power Launch, RbW, Cruise control, Full-led lighting with DRLs. Lighting package also includes Backlit handlebar switches. Meanwhile, the XDiavel S gets Bluetooth module, an Infotainment system, Premium seat, Machined aluminium mirrors.
Engine wise we get the same international version as always. The XDivael is powered by a Ducati Testastretta DVT (Desmodromic Variable Timing), L-Twin, Dual-spark, Liquid-cooled engine. The motor makes 156 BHP and 128 Nm of torque from its 1262cc engine. The normal Diavel continues to makes 162 BHP and 130 Nm of torque from the older 1198 cc engine. Ducati says the new 1262cc engine makes more power and has flat torque from 5000 RPM to 10,000 RPM. There is also provision of good low-end torque says Ducati. Power is being put down via a 6-speed gearbox.
Chassis treasure set includes top of the line hardware. XDivael gets 50mm USD front forks, but the XDiavel S gets DLC coating on front suspension. Monoshock at the rear is an adjustable preload and rebound. The monoshock also has a remote reservoir. A single sided cast/trellis frame swingarm is present on both bikes. Pirelli Diablo Rosso II 240/45 ZR17 are the tyres and wheels on the cruiser. 2 x 320 mm semi floating discs, Radial Brembo monobloc, 4-piston M50 calipers, along with radial master cylinder and ABS as standard equipment on the bike. Features list include 3,5″ TFT colour display and dedicated warning light display comes on the motorcycle.
