Bajaj Dominar 400 2018 Model Will Be An All New Variant and will be something that has a more specific approach
Bajaj has big plans for the years to come and that includes its new beloved brand, the Dominar series. The sources within manufacturer have been telling us what they plan to do with the new Pulsar series for quite some time, 2016 that is. However, we have concrete news this time that there is a whole new variant planned from the manufacturer for the Dominar series. The reason we said that it was beloved because Bajaj tells us all the time that the Dominar customer are the most satisfied customers they have come across till date. With rarely any problems with the bike that are big and noticeable thanks to the using of two platforms and combining them into one.
One is the KTM engine and the second is the perimeter frame chassis and suspension that it ohas been using since 2012. Dominar came in late 2016 and 2017 onwards it has been gathering momentum. To keep that going, earlier this year, Bajaj introduced 2018 models which were just high on refinement to a certain extent and offered gold wheels and three new colors.
Now sources confirm with us that were two variants that were being planned. A classic version was being considered and the second is the universal variant known as the Scrambler. The manufacturer is now deciding between the two and final phase of deciding the Bajaj Dominar 400 2018 Model. Scrambler version is befitting to this platform as the platform can pull it off rather well.
Knobbly tyres, new set mudguard/fender positioning and a bit more ground clearance will make it flat-track ready to race motorcycle. For this, it is safe to assume it will get the 400cc engine itself making the same horsepower and torque (35 PS and 35 Nm) with not many changes to the engine, but the sprocketing or gearing could be altered. Prices would go higher, but should be in the range of Rs. 4,000 to Rs. 6,000. Let’s wait as the Dominar 400 2018 should hit showrooms before July 2018.
