Bajaj Auto is working on a new Pulsar 250 launch as we speak. Today, they have released a teaser! We have been telling you about the same for a while now. The new flagship offering in the Pulsar range is expected its own brand new engine made from scratch which was seen in spyshots that they are air/oil-cooled. This will slot below the current Pulsar NS and RS 200. A semi-faired Bajaj Pulsar 250 has been spotted in this teaser. This could be badged as the Pulsar 250F upon launch.

What we can see is a silhouette very close to the RS 200 in design. Large bubble screen, twin seats, a very nice looking exhaust, and other details will shine upon launch on 28’th October 2021. A simple instrument cluster is expected on the bike unlike KTM’s. We know that these Bajaj Pulsar bikes will be affordable as before despite they will get the most sophisticated suspension, engines, and chassis setup. We can also see a LED DRL that runs through the entire four corners of the headlamp giving it a very unique look. Projector lamps and LED lights and LED DRL will up the premium quotient of the motorcycle.

It also gets fairing-mounted rearview mirrors and clip-on handlebars. The tail section is all new and it looks great and it will be an LED unit. Dual-port exhaust is also seen for the first time. Monoshock, Sticky MRF REV-Z tyres are also visible in the video.

Other components like the suspension, alloy wheels, tyre hugger, disc brakes and the stubby exhaust muffler will remain the same on the Pulsar 250 naked model, along with the 250 cc engine that will get the DTS-i treatment to adapt into the Bajaj Pulsar family. Expect the motor to be detuned to produce about 22-24 PS of power, and will come paired with a 6-speed gearbox. Could Bajaj surprise us with a slipper clutch? We’d like to see that.

The Bajaj Pulsar 220F remains one of the most successful motorcycles from the brand even after nearly a decade and a half. Timely updates and exciting performance makes it a strong performer despite the age. So it makes sense why the company would want to replicate the same theme with the 250F, especially once you consider the 220F outsells the RS 200 in the Pulsar family. The model will primarily compete with the Suzuki Gixxer and Yamaha FZ 250 range that also gets a naked and full-faired choice.
