Four Honda Car Launches Till 2020 will help it gain superiority overs its immediate rivals
Honda will launch four new products in India in the course of next two years. The launch will happen every six months and help the company to expand its presence across the market segments. Honda has officially announced that it will launch four new cars in Indian in the next two years. In this year, we have already witnessed the launch of new Amaze and CR-V from the Japanese carmaker.
1) New Honda Civic: Honda has confirmed the launch of 10th-generation Civic in India in Q1 2019. New Civic will come to India via CKD and get assembly in Honda’s Greater Noida facility. It will get a 1.6-liter i-DTEC diesel engine with high level of localization. The petrol engine will displace 1.8-liter and produce 140bhp of max power.

2. Honda HR-V: Honda will release HR-V premium SUV in the second half of 2020. The HR-V is already on sale globally and will take on the likes of Hyundai Creta and Renault Captur. Engine options will include a 1.6-liter diesel and a 1.5-liter petrol, both putting out 118bhp of max power.
Expected Launch: H2 2019
3. New-Gen City: The development of new City is already in progress and we expect to see its debut in H1 2020. New City will grow in size, offer more equipment, and come with a hybrid-petrol version. The diesel versionwill use the 1.5-liter i-DTEC motor.
Expected Launch: H1 2020
4. New Sub-4m SUV: The detail about the fourth product is still sketchy though rumors suggest that the company is developing a new sub-4m SUV based on the Amaze platform. The launch could happen towards the end of 2020 and Honda could show its prototype in next edition of Indian Auto Expo.
