Hero Achiever iSmart 150cc will be a step forward in the highlight competitive 150cc segment and should finally help Achiever get sales.

Hero is on a roll to make sure their sales and strategy for the coming years stays strong. Launch multiple products despite breakup from Honda has been the forte of the brand now since 2014. The manufacturer continues to do so and has announced 15 new products for 2016-2017 as well. 2017 will witness performance motorcycles but before that, the commuter range will be completely refreshed. One of those products is the Achiever 150 iSmart. Yes, the Achiever is coming back yet again and this time it has something. The start-stop system will help it in delivering sales and efficiency numbers to the manufacturer and consumers respectively. We have details of the motorcycle from the launch.

Hero Achiever iSmart 150cc Design and colors

When it comes to design, the Achiever is a contemporary motorcycle. However, with the iSmart version a large amount of changes are expected. The motorcycle gets a new side panel, tail-piece headlamp cowl, one piece grab rails and much more. New color schemes, decals and other options are available as well. The motorcycle gets all black theme below and a new exhaust design and heat shield as well.

Hero Achiever iSmart 150cc Chassis, suspension and brakes

The chassis will be similar as before and so will be the suspension units. Disc brake at the front and drum brakes at the rear will be preferred continued option for the Achiever. Expect good ride quality and handling along with agility and nimbleness for city duties.

Hero Achiever iSmart 150cc Engine, gearbox and mileage

The new 150cc engine is tuned to be more efficient and powerful at the same time. The commuter layout of power and torque coming earlier coupled with tall gearing should help it get decent performance and excellent fuel economy thanks to star-stop system. The engine is now BS-IV compliant. Claimed number should be around 60 km/l and real life numbers should be around the 45-50 km/l mark. 5-Speed gearbox will mated to the new improved engine
