Hero MotoCorp, the world’s largest manufacturer of motorcycles and scooters, has reinforced its market leadership by closing FY’25 on a strong note, leading the two-wheeler industry in both retail and wholesale segments.

• Hero MotoCorp extended its market leadership into the 24th consecutive year, registering total retail sales of 54,45,251 units in FY 2024-25. The company also led the market in March 2025, retailing a total of 4,35,828 units.
• On the EV front, the company recorded retail sales of 48,674 units of the VIDA V2 in FY 2024-25, marking a significant increase from 17,720 units sold in the previous fiscal — registering a strong 174% year-on-year growth.
• Notably, March 2025 saw retail sales of 7,982 units of VIDA V2, representing a 95% growth as compared to 4,085 units retailed in March 2024
Performance Milestones – FY 2024-25
• Not just in retail but on the wholesale front, Hero MotoCorp clocked 5,899,187 (5.9 million) units in FY ’25, further solidifying its leadership position.
• The company dispatched 549,604 units in March 2025, marking a 12% Y-o-Y growth.
• Hero MotoCorp continued its strong momentum in global markets, reaching 287,429 units in FY’25 – a robust 43% increase from FY’24.
• The company further strengthened its position in the EV segment as it achieved its highest ever EV sales, growing around 200% over FY’24, with over 58,000 electric scooters dispatched in FY’25.
• The company expanded its product portfolio across ICE and EV segments with key launches including the Xtreme 250R, Xpulse 210, Destini 125, Xoom 125, Xoom 160, and the range of VIDA V2 electric scooters, marking its entry into the mass-market EV space and reinforcing its presence across commuter and premium categories
