Honda launched 10th generation Civic in India on March 7, 2019, and according to the latest reports, the Japanese carmaker has already received over 2,400 bookings for this saloon. This is despite the fact that Honda Civic is the most expensive car in its segment. Honda Civic has made come back to the Indian market after a long gap of 7 years and is priced in the range of Rs 17.7-22.3 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). It comes in a total of 5 variants with 3 belonging to petrol engine and the rest 2 relating to the diesel motor. This is also the very first time that Honda has launched Civic with a diesel engine. The 1.6-liter diesel in Civic puts out 118bhp/300Nm while 1.8-liter petrol makes 140bhp/174Nm. The diesel engine has got a 6-speed manual transmission while the petrol is mated to a CVT gearbox.
In terms of design and features, all new Civic has got an attractive nose made up of aggressively designed thick chrome grill and highly dynamic LED headlamps. The profile of the Civic is well designated by large, 17-inch dual-tone alloy wheels and fastback-like dropping roofline.
