Honda Cars India kicks off the new year with a sneak peek at its upcoming All-New SUV. The company released the first teaser sketch of the All-New SUV, which will premiere during the summer of 2023.
The All-New Honda SUV has been designed at the Honda R&D Asia Pacific Co., Ltd. following extensive market surveys in India for people’s changing lifestyle requirements and expectations from Honda for their new SUV in terms of design & performance. This is the SUV that will go against the likes of the Skoda Kushaq, Volkswagen Taigun, Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Toyota Hyryder, Maruti Grand Vitara and MG Astor. Petrol and petrol hybrid will be on offer like most of its rivals. Tata and Mahindra will enter this race in the year 2024 and Honda still has an advantage.
Honda is working on a 7-seater model of this car as well internationally, which could also trickle down to India in the coming years. We know, three SUV’s from Honda are very likely to make it. One of them will be a Sub four meter SUV as well. With these three SUV along with City and Amaze, Honda will have a robust portfolio of cars that will help them sustain well in the Indian market. Honda also did just turn profitable as well in the year 2022 after major cost cuttings all around the company.
