Honda Unicorn 160 BSIV was rumored to be discontinued but Honda has taken time to upgrade the engine to BSIV emission norms

Honda like other manufacturer is making sure that it has all norms and emission laws applied to its motorcycles to stay in the market and provide best possible package to the audience. One of them was Honda getting BSIV emission norms cleared for all its vehicles. It started with the same engine that was seen in the Hornet 160R last year. Honda has now decided to do the same with the Unicorn 160 as well. Production was halted for some time and was done for the emission compliant engine to come in. We have all the details.

Styling wise everything remains the same as before. The bike is contemporary and yet modern looking Honda that came from the brand after a really long time. The tank extensions, the stubby exhaust, the large side panels and sleek tail-piece continue to be on offer. The motorcycle offers new colors to distinguish as the 2017 emission compliant model and it gets a new Matte Blue color option along with earl Igneous Black, Matte Axis Grey, Pearl Amazing White and Imperial Red Metallic.

The Unicorn continue gets a telescopic suspension at the front and a monoshock at the rear and the chassis is the similar single downtube frame. There are disc brakes at the front and rear continues to be an drum unit. CBS is being offered on the motorcycle as before.
