As Hyundai completes 25 years in India, HMIL will re-emphasize its commitment to customers with the Global Debut of Hyundai ALCAZAR that is ‘Made in India’ and ‘Made First for India’. The new Hyundai Creta continues to do really well. SUV launched in 2015 is which got a facelift as the cycle per car changes drastically these days. SUV and 7-seater configuration go hand in hand and this is no surprise. Every segment has 7-seater SUV and this is the meat of the segment and deserves that seating layout. Alcazar has completed testing throughout India and now engine details are released. Hyundai ALCAZAR is tested on 15 drive tracks for various road driving conditions and manufactured using 89 % Green Energy at HMIL plant in Irungattukottai, Tamil Nadu. Today, it has been launched.
Hyundai Alcazar Design and Dimensions
The design language is of a larger Creta but the C-pillar seems to be done quite well. The SUV looks good thanks to large grille and the same headlamp cluster as the Creta. The rear is stretched out as well and will have the same lights as the Creta. Rear profile has chunky tail-lamps and chrome strip. Side profile is very unique and hides the elongated Creta profile, quite well.

Pricing is very competitive given a host of features and three variants to choose from after you decide MT/AT and petrol/diesel options.
Hyundai Alcazar Engine And Specification
The 2.0 petrol and 1.5 diesel will come to the SUV. Petrol makes 152 PS and diesel makes 115 PS. Mileage numbers should be around 20 km/l for diesel and 15 km/l for petrol. Automatics will be offered with engine trims. Drive mode selection features different steering effort mapping for Eco, City and Sport modes. The final Gear Ratio (FGR) of 6-Speed Manual Transmission on U2 1.5 l Diesel BS6 Engine has been optimized for superior performance. The 6MT also features superior shift quality using triple cone synchro and TGS (Transmission Gear Shift) lever stopper.
