Renault worldwide is on a roll. It has created cars to rival Germans and, at the same time, it is taking on it Japanese and Asian competition to make it large in the small car market. Duster was one success worldwide and cars based on the platform did well as the pricing and value was quite good. Renault Captur India Engine, Gearbox and Mileage

Renault Captur will continue to come with 1.5 petrol engine option and 1.5 diesel continue to be mated with a 5-speed gearbox. The diesel motor makes 110 PS of power and 450 Nm of torque. Petrol motor makes 105 BHP of power and 142 Nm of torque. There is no automatic on offer.

Renault Captur India Specific Design and Dimensions

Captur seems to be a handsome looking vehicle when viewed in images. The Duster is known for the same but the Captur has flowing design and everything else right from headlights to rear bumper seems to be doing a great job of syncing with every sheet metal piece. The large futuristic designed bumper with LED DRL and air dams that have been crafted well along with a sleek clam-shell-like bonnet gives it a rugged stance that today’s soft roaders poses. Rear looks like a hatchback, but raised with small tail-lamps and a lot of sheet metal area. Lower half comes with a faux skid plate. The SUV measures 4333 mm, 1813 mm and 1613 mm in length, width and height respectively.

Renault Captur Chassis, suspension and off-road

The SUV will have a monocoque chassis, will be slightly bigger than the Duster in size. The suspension will be the same as the Duster all around and will be niggle free as platform has been revised. There is no 4×4 and only 4×2 on offer.

Gold and white interior are color used for the interiors. Features include all LED lights inside the cabin. Fully digital ‘Infinity’ instrument cluster is also standard. Car gets reverse parking camera, sensors, 7-inch touch screen unit, ARKAMYS-tuned sound system, Full LED healamps, steering mounted controls and much more is on offer.
