Jaguar XE and Jaguar XF Petrol Launched In India in their 2018 avatar which includes minor changes and all new all-aluminum engines
Jaguar Land Rover India introduces the Jaguar XE and XF in India with the lightweight and efficient all-aluminium Ingenium petrol powertrain. The new 2.0 l (litre) Ingenium petrol motor is offered in both 199 PS and 250 PS outputs and is mated to an 8-Speed Electronic Automatic Transmission with Jaguar Sequential ShiftTM and All Surface Progress Control. The Jaguar XE powered by the Ingenium petrol starts from Rs. 35.99 Lakh while the Jaguar XF starts from Rs. 49.80 Lakh.
The Ingenium petrol engines use Jaguar Land Rover’s low friction all-aluminium design to provide excellent thermal properties and lightweight construction for improved efficiency and enhanced vehicle dynamics. The new petrol units deploy twin scroll turbos to reduce lag, optimising power output and efficiency. Continuously Variable Valve Lift technology improves air delivery to both engines.
This patented technology provides fully variable control of the intake valve lift for optimum efficiency, power and torque across the rev range. The 199 PS powertrain is offered on the XE Pure and Prestige as well as the XF Prestige, while the 250 PS powertrain is offered on the XE Portfolio and XF Portfolio.
Jaguar vehicles are available in India through 27 authorised outlets in Ahmedabad, Aurangabad, Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Coimbatore, Delhi, Gurgaon, Hyderabad, Indore, Jaipur, Kolkata, Kochi, Karnal, Lucknow, Ludhiana, Mangalore, Mumbai, Nagpur, Noida, Pune, Raipur, Vijayawada and Surat.
The Jaguar range in India includes XE (starting at Rs. 35.99 Lakh), XF (starting at Rs. 46.60 Lakh), F-PACE (starting at Rs. 60.02 Lakh), XJ (starting at Rs. 100.80 Lakh) and F-TYPE (starting at Rs. 134.33 Lakh). All prices mentioned are ex-showroom prices in India.
