Kia Syros SUV Bookings Open On January 3’rd 2025

Kia India, a leading mass premium carmaker, announces the commencement of bookings for Syros, an SUV evolved by the future, starting January 3rd. Customers can book the Syros online starting at 12AM tonight or at the nearest dealer from tomorrow onwards, with a booking amount of Rs 25,000. The prices for the Syros will be announced on 1st February, with deliveries commencing mid-February.

Built on the reinforced K1 platform, the Syros is tailored to meet the needs of new-age urban drivers and tech-savvy adventurers, blending versatility with cutting-edge advancements. With a bold exterior design and premium, lounge like experience on the interior, the Syros sets a new standard in the segment.

Equipped with 20 Robust Hi-Standard safety package, along with 16 Autonomous features with Level-2 ADAS, the Syros has best-in-class active safety. With Kia Connect 2.0, it provides first-in-segment Over-the-Air (OTA) software updates, automatically updating 22 controllers to ensure the vehicle is always equipped with the latest software and features. The Syros also comes with a best-in-class 76.2cm (30”) Trinity Panoramic Display panel – Connected Car Navigation Cockpit, a dual-pane panoramic sunroof, and 64 colour ambient lighting. It features first-in-segment rear seat recline, slide, and ventilation, along with the flexibility of adjustable boot space as per need.

The Kia Syros will be available in four standard trims HTK, HTK+, HTX and HTX+ along with two optional trims HTK(O) and HTX+(O). It will have two engine options: Smartstream 1.0-liter turbo petrol with 88.3 kW (120PS)/172Nm, and 1.5-liter CRDi diesel with 85 kW (116PS)/ 250Nm, both mated to automatic and manual transmission.

In April 2017, Kia India signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the State Government of Andhra Pradesh, India, to build a new manufacturing facility at Anantapur District. Kia commenced mass production in August 2019 and has an installed annual production capacity of 300,000 units. In April 2021, Kia India reimagined itself in line with its new brand identity, “Movement that Inspires” aimed at offering customers meaningful experiences backed by innovative products and services.

Under the new brand identity, Kia has set out to find ways to achieve new benchmarks and inspire consumers to be more and do more. Till date, Kia India has launched five vehicles for the Indian market – the Seltos, the Carnival, the Sonet, the Carens, and the EV6. Kia India has completed almost 1.3 million vehicle dispatches from its Anantapur plant, including over 10.5 lakh domestic sales and over 2.5 lakh exports. With more than 4 lakh connected cars on Indian roads, it is among the connected Car leaders in the country. The brand has a widespread network of 640 touchpoints across 287 cities and is focused on strengthening its footprints across the country.
