Lexus LX 450d luxury SUV has been priced at 2.32 crore in India which is almost a crore rupee more over the Land Cruiser which it is based on
Japanese carmaker Lexus has announced prices for its flagship SUV the Lexus LX 450d in the country. The luxury SUV wears a price tag of RS. 2.32 crore (ex-showroom Delhi) the car is only diesel trim as of now. The petrol trim will come later this year, says Lexus India. The Lexus LX 450d borrows its powertrain as well as substructure from the Toyota Land Cruiser 200. While Lexus LX 450d was announced for India alongside the other models in March this year, the company has revealed prices only now. Bookings for the model have already started.
Thanks to the bold Lexus signature spindle grille, framed by elegant satin chrome trim with connecting standard LED headlights, turn signals and fog lamps provide a captivating lighting signature. The car measures over 5 meters in length and has a gross weight of 3,350 kg. The luxury SUV is powered by a 4.5-litre diesel V8 engine that churns out 265 bhp and 650 Nm of peak torque. The powerplant comes mated to a six –speed automatic transmission which delivers power to the all four wheels. The humungous SUV hits 100 kmph from a standstill in 8.6 seconds and can reach a top speed of 210 kmph. The SUV has had an upgrade in design, luxury and performance and now comes with features like standard Lexus Safety System + with emergency automatic braking.
Inside, the Lexus LX450d is a 7-seater and comes with a lavish feel all around. The cabin gets a two tone colour theme finished in soft touch materials and leather upholstery. A good news for all music lovers as this beast also gets a 19 speaker Mark Levinson audio system. Features like auto climate control with 14 censors help in creating the idle cabin temperature, wireless charging and a Heads-up display. It just goes on and on as you also get a massive touchscreen infotainment system, cool seats rear entertainment screens for passengers, multiple driving modes, adjustable differential locks, traction control and much more.
