Lower Spec Mahindra Mojo Spotted Testing, Misses out on Few Features could be anything on the same platform

Mahindra seems to be getting on a path, which no one thought they would be on. We expected multiple motorcycles on the Mojo platform but what we see here is a mew version of the same 300cc Mojo. While we thought that the brand could use the same engine and hardware to make a super sports, adventure tourer and much more. Mahindra seems to have decided that it will launch a low-cost version of the same Mojo that it has now. The Mojo has been spotted by our reader who sends us a picture of the motorcycle, which is a bare bones version of what the original Mojo is today.

Lower Spec Mahindra Mojo seen here has much cheaper parts than the one it has now. USD forks are changed to normal telescopic forks. Out of two, one of the exhaust canister is missing. MRF tyres will be slapped on different set of wheels and expensive Pirelli will be kept for existing version. If we believe the pictures, which shows the carburetor then we can assume that liquid-cooling is also most likely to take an exit as well. The current housing could hold an oil-cooler or could continue with liquid-cooling. For example, how the Bajaj Pulsar NS200 carries a carburetor with liquid-cooling.

LED eye brows seem to be intact with this bike and the biking fairing and head lamp fairing seems to be seen here. Production version could get a more minimalist front-end as well. We can expect a de-tuned engine then and could make less power and torque.

The weight reduction can be on the higher side and performance could be similar. It will be interesting how Mahindra pitches it to the enthusiast and customers. Also, it will worth to see how the vehicle is priced. Expect a lot more of these pictures and information flowing on the same subject. Stay tuned for more.
