Maruti Suzuki 2018 Vitara Brezza Diesel AMT comes at a time where it feels slightly threatened by the potent Tata Nexon and Ford Ecosport
Maruti Suzuki is on its way to offer everything possible under the sun to its customers in this extra competitive field of selling cars. Hyundai, Tata and Ford are offering and Maruti doesn’t want to miss on it either. Brezza compact SUV is already doing well with four variants and one diesel engine, now it wants to expand into its most popular offering via blessing it with an AMT automatic gearbox. The details are out as it has been launched in the Indian market today.
The diesel motor is the same 1.3-litre Multijet unit called as DDis in Maruti’s speak. The engine makes 90 PS and 215 Nm of torque. The motor will now come mated to a 5-Speed AMT. Maruti said earlier that it plans to convert all its car with 6-speed gearbox instead of five. There is VDi AMT, ZDi AMT and ZDi+ AMT on offer this time. Expect 24-25 km/l with the Maruti Suzuki 2019 Vitara Brezza Diesel AMT.
Safety is the highlight comprising of ISOFIX child restraint system, high speed warning alert, dual airbags, ABS with EBD, reverse parking sensors and front seat belt pre-tensioners and force limiters. All aforementioned features are standard across all variants. The SUV is know certified for offset and side impact crash tests.
