Every month witnesses a new product and ends up bringing up the share of the company in India as it helps the brand be more active, deliver more products and different type of products to different buyers. GLC is a proper SUV that takes on the likes of established rivals such as BMW X3 and Audi Q5. Two very important products for the respective brands. 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLC Engine And Gearbox
For now, we will get the GLC 220 d that produces 170 BHP and 400 Nm of torque. The petrol GLC 300 will be offered produces 245 BHP and 370 Nm of torque. Petrol has a topspeed of 222 km/hr and diesel has a topspeed of 210 km/hr. Petrol accelerates from 0-100 km/hr in 6.5 seconds and diesel does 0-100 km/hr in 8.3 seconds. Both engines will only be offered with the newly developed 9G-Tronic DCT gearbox as well as the 4MATIC AWD system, which is standard.

GLC also gets Off-road package as standard and gets DSR, underguard protection, special bumper and more ground clearance.

GLC has a proper SUV stance unlike the crossover inspired GLA. One of the key selling points for the SUV. The stance is high and it’s quite wide too. Based on the C-Class architecture, it has everything more of the C-Class in it. GLC has the sleekest tail-lamps of all time and headlights have taken inspiration from the S-Class. The grille is large with 2 large chrome slats with a large intake bumper below with scoops.

The interiors, like with all new Mercedes-Benz cars makes it a very special part of the GLC. The new GLC is based on the C-Class so it gets extremely high quality interior with superb fit-finish and massive attention to detail including a tonne of features onboard as well. The car has all the infotainment system along with park assist feature such as camera and sensors.
Connectivity options are available too. Apple CarPlay should be made available as well to the system. Command system is also an option standard with the GLC. All of this can be controlled through a scroller below. GLC has a more than sufficient luggage space of 550 litres. Ambient lighting is also a part of features list.

GLC is a 5-seater SUV and will be launch in the country in the first week of June. Prices start from 50.7 lakhs for diesel and 50.9 lakhs for petrol engine GLC 300
