According to news, MG Motor India is planning to launch seven new models in the country in the next two years. According to the report, the company shared its future product plans with traders invited to its headquarters in Shanghai, China, days after announcing its partnership with JSW Group. The dealers also showcased some of the models that are ready for the Indian market.
According to an official present at the event, MG is unlikely to launch an all-new model or just a petrol model in India. Instead, company plans to focus on hybrids such as plug-in hybrids and pure electric vehicles.
It has also been reported that the current MG range will receive updates in the coming years, including the Gloster, which will be updated next year. The manufacturer showcased models such as the eHS plug-in hybrid SUV, the Mifa9 electric MPV, the MG4 electric hatchback and the MG5 electric car at the 2023 Auto Expo.
