The MINI Cooper S Carbon Edition Launched is a Completely Built-Up unit (CBU). Mini Cooper S Carbon Edition combines the already powerful MINI Cooper S model with the new John Cooper Works Tuning Kit, along with official John Cooper Works Accessories. The tuning kit allows a precisely measured increase in performance properties. The MINI Cooper S Carbon Edition is available in a choice of three exciting exterior colours, Pepper White, Thunder Grey and Midnight Black.
The MINI Cooper S Carbon Edition has design features matte black sport and side stripes accented by a red pinstripe reinforcing its sporty look. Carbon is emblazoned on the sides. Couple that with the JCW aerodynamic package, it does look very racy. The newly designed LED headlights together with the LED rear lights, surrounded by trim rings in black.
The MINI Cooper S Carbon Edition has the right balance of sporty and luxury. This package includes John Cooper Works sports seats, exclusive to this limited edition model in India, with integrated headrests finished in Black Alcantara with contrasting red stitching. Other features that contribute to the unlimited exhilaration include the John Cooper Works leather steering wheel with paddle shifters, the John Cooper Works door sills, the John Cooper Works gear selector lever, accented by the Glowing Red trim.The MINI Cooper S Carbon Edition also comes with an anthracite roof liner.
Mechanically, There are 17-inch light-alloy wheels with 205 profile tyres. The John Cooper Works Tuning Kit and Exhaust was designed for and tested on the racetrack. Finished in Carbon Fibre for added sportiness upgrade the power output to 210hp @ 4500 – 6000 RPM combined with peak torque of 300Nm @ 1250 – 4600 RPM. MINI Cooper S Without makes JCW Tuning Kit 192 BHP AND 280 NM of torque and does 0-100 km/hr in 6.7 seconds. 2-litre 4-cylinder petrol engine with TwinPower Turbo Technology power the carbon edition. The 6-speed automatic gearbox is smooth and quick. This can be controlled via the paddle shifters on the steering wheel too. Launch Control is on offer too.
