MV Agusta is all set to bring their ultra premium motorcycles to the Indian market. It started early this year when we all got to sample the bikes. MV since day one had ambitious plans that we keep telling you every time. The motorcycles are all planned and they are coming in phased manner. The motorcycle that we are talking about today is the MV Agusta F3 800 RC. Based on the 800cc variant of the Brutale, the faired version is highly skilled version of the normal version also.
MV Agusta F3 800 RC India is a collector’s motorcycle. MV Agusta F3 800 RC India is powered by the 798cc, inline 3-cylinder motor that makes 146 BHP at 13,000 RPM and 88 Nm of torque at 10,000 RPM. The power is transferred to the rear wheels by a 6-speed gearbox. 0-100 km/hr comes in less than 3 seconds and top speed is a whopping 269 km/hr.
Suspension components are top-notch as well. Front forks are Marzocchi USD with adjustablility for rebound-compression and preload. Meanwhile, at the rear, the RC gets a Sachs unit which also offers rebound, compression damping along with preload adjustment. Braking are massive dual 320mm disc brakes with a Brembo four-piston brake calipers. The rear gets a 220mm disc brake with a two-piston brake caliper.Electronics list includes 9 Plus ABS system from Bosch, race mode, 8 level traction control and Rear wheel Lift-up Mitigation to top the deal.
The MV Agusta F3 800 RC India is a road-legal version of Team Reparto Corse’s F3 800 ridden by the World Championship riders. The MV Agusta F3 800 RC India features a two-tone colour scheme with red and white decals that follow MV Agusta’s racing bikes history of liveries. All the 250 MV Agusta F3 800 R also get the ‘AMG’ badging too. A company, which owns 25% stake in the company. MV Agusta F3 800 RC India availability has begun.
