New Ducati Monster 803 could come and slot in below the current 821 and the 939 Ducati could be replace the 821 in the future
Ducati spyshots are the things that we are witnessing every other week now since the last few weeks. In came the new Scrambler with 1200cc motor which is a possibility. The 939 SuperSport is on its way as well and has been spied. Today though a new Ducati Monster has been spotted testing for the first time. Ducati Monster is always all about getting new riders to the brand as it makes it more affordable, approachable and accessible in every aspect for riders of all types and experience.
The New Ducati Monster 803 seen here has a handful of changes which include a new tank design which can be seen camouflaged here. There is a new headlight which is also been partly camouflaged and could feature the new LED DRL system that every monster has today. There is a new seat, a new double-sided swingarm and new wheels. Expect a refreshed looking Monster for sure. Mechanically it will continue to share the same chassis, suspension and tyres from the current Monster. Front suspension will be non adjustable, rear monoshock should have pre-load and compression and you can expect multiple number of seat height options to choose from.

Engine should be the same 803cc unit and this time it will be air-cooled. Picture easily shows that the motor has air-cooling vents on the walls and there isn’t a radiator. The engine has been borrowed from the Scrambler and this should make things more road focused than its cousin that it borrows ‘stuff’ from. Expect it to make 70 BHP of power and not the earlier 87 BHP that the Monster 796 had. Expect all new Ducati models that are being spied to make their presence felt at the EICMA this year which happens in November. Stay tuned for more news!
