2018 Suzuki Gixxer SF and Gixxer Launched. They offer segment-best blend of performance and daily practicality
Suzuki Gixxer is now a household name. Launched in the year 2014, the motorcycle is the most promising and best-performing product from Suzuki in every way. The manufacturer had made sure that they compete with the best and gain supremacy in the segment. It all started with the naked Gixxer and soon was followed by a faired Gixxer SF. The SF turned out to be even popular for obvious reasons. Later in 2016 the dual disc variant was launched and a Fuel injection version was showcased at the Auto Expo. Today 2018 variants have been launched with little changes on offer.
2018 Suzuki Gixxer SF Fi New Colors And Design
In terms of styling for the Fi Version, there isn’t any change. The same Hayabusa inspired front headlight along with the full fairing panels on both sides along with a large engine belly cowl make sure it stands out in the right colors. For starters, the SF Fi will be available in Moto GP color only and other colors will follow shortly. The stubby and dual port exhaust and the chunky tyres and fat suspension make it look downright sporty.
The Suzuki Gixxer SF 2018 variant will be available in new sporty graphics inspired by the Suzuki logo across all color variants. The new Gixxer SF (and naked GixxeR) also come with clear lens LED tail lamps to distinguish between two models.
2018 Suzuki Gixxer SF – Chassis, suspension and brakes
The chassis also remains the same as before. The suspension is also tuned on the firmer side and Gixxer should handle and ride the same way it does in the carburetor version. Introduction of disc brakes at the rear and already impressive front brakes means stopping power should be fine.

2016 Suzuki Gixxer SF Engine, gearbox and mileage
The new 155cc now has fuel injection and it should aid in better power delivery, more fuel efficiency from the motor and should also provide lower emission numbers. Gixxer twins are now BSIV engine equipped. We expect even more smooth motor and provide much better throttle response and an easy cold start as with every other Fi equipped engine. The kick lever is now given a miss, another deduction when it comes to Fi engines. The engine continues to make 14.8 PS of power and 14 Nm of torque.
