Nissan is gearing up for a mid-term refresh of its popular compact SUV, the Magnite, as part of its strategy to maintain its presence in India until the launch of the full-size SUV in 2025.

Expected to launch in late-2024, the Magnite facelift will not only focus on the Indian market, but will be a global product. The company aims to capitalize on the success of Magnite, which has seen strong demand worldwide, especially in regions such as South Africa. Nissan plans to strengthen its overseas business in India by bringing the Magnite to left-hand drive (LHD) markets such as Mexico. Nissan also plans to explore areas in Africa, the Middle East and the Latin region.
