Bajaj Pulsar Sales Reach New Milestone Number of one lakh units per month. Sports segments continues to be dominated by Bajaj
Indian two-wheeler manufacturer Bajaj Auto has posted impressive sales figures for March 2019 with an increase of 39% in sales corresponding to the same month last year. What is even more important is the fact that it is for the very first time that Bajaj has been able to sell more than 1 lakh units of Pulsar in the Indian market since its launch in 2001.
Currently, the Pune-based manufacturer has 6 models in the Pulsar range with Pulsar 150 being the entry-level model available in twin-disc and neon variants. Priced above the Pulsar 150 is NS160 which is competing against the likes of TVS Apache 160 and Honda Hornet among others. Pulsar 180 comes next in the price range and is available in semi-fared and naked versions.
Recently, we have also witnessed the launch of Pulsar 180F which has taken the design inspiration from its bigger sibling Pulsar 220F. Bajaj has launched 180F in the market to lure buyers who want to have a semi-faired bike just like 220F but don’t afford to spend the extra money.
Pulsar 220F is one of the oldest models in the Pulsar range, but it still feels fresh and contemporary thanks to its timeless appeal. 220F was initially launched with direct fuel injection engine but later on, Bajaj changed the technology by bringing carburetor version of the bike. Pulsar 220F is one among the popular bikes in the country and contributes a handsome chunk of revenue to the Bajaj’s kitty.
Pulsar RS200 is one of the preferred options for the buyers looking for a fully-faired option in the Indian market. It has got looks, boasts powerful performance, and is good enough to give a competition to segment higher bikes. Pulsar NS200 naked bike is also an attractive option offering good value for money.
