Peugeot Belville 125 and 200cc Scooter Unveiled AT EICMA 2017.

On display at the ongoing EICMA 2016 show were Peugeot Belville scooters with two engine options.

Peugeot Motorcycles and Scooters owned by Mahindra in India has just showcased two scooters that are set to come in the entry-level market. The scooters named as Belville has come in two options to choose from. Everything else is the same on both scooters. Highlights of these two new Peugeot scooter are that they have 14/15-inch wheels and huge seats along with a large storage area under neath it.

Underseat storage is large enough to accommodate a full faced sports helmet. Peugeot Belville 125 and 200cc are being offered in two variants such as RS and Allure. The RS is a sportier scooter while the latter is a more versatile and practical offering in both engine options.

Peugeot Belville 125 and 200cc Scooter have engines tag named as SmartMotion 125cc and EasyMotion 200cc. Both engines are Euro 4 compliant and are Fuel-Injected. Mechanically, those large wheels also comply with the law as they offer ABS as standard.Features list includes rear LED lighting and USB socket for charging smartphone. There is a decent sized glove box which can be locked and that available on both variants. These scooters are most likely to use the similar platform that both companies share.

The Peugeot Belville scooters in both variants are in the early stages. Mahindra and Peugeot have recently invested a lot in these programs and these scooters could be a turning point when it comes bringing volumes and cash into the Indian and as well international market. Sales are scheduled in late 2017 and post that expect these scooters to come to India as well and stay in the premium space and give the public their dose of retro-modern scooters with practicality and style both in abundance just like its key rival Vespa.
