Reise MotoSports, the racing team owned by Reise Moto (a division of Mahansaria Group) which manufactures and markets premium two-wheeler tires, underscored strong performances at the Indian Supercross Racing League (ISRL) finale held in Bengaluru on February 25th 2024. Team Reise displayed remarkable resilience and competitiveness in the final round.
In the 450cc international round in Bengaluru, Thomas Ramette from Reise MotoSports swiftly overtook all his competitors in the opening lap, capitalizing on the hole shot he secured. Despite initially dropping two positions while attempting to extend his lead in the early laps, Thomas maintained his position and clinched 3rd place at the finish line. Meanwhile, Nico Koch from the Reise MotoSports team displayed remarkable consistency, securing 6th place amidst the race’s intensity. Learning from the challenges faced, Thomas displayed determination in Moto 2, ultimately finishing 2nd, while Nico’s composed approach ensured another 6th place finish.
Showcasing the fantastic performance of the team Reise MotoSports, Ramette Thomas secured the 3rd position in overall rankings.
“Despite facing challenges, Reise MotoSports delivered remarkable performances throughout the season,” stated Mr. Yogesh Mahansaria, Founder & Managing Director, Reise Moto. “We are incredibly proud of the team’s achievements and eagerly anticipate future editions of the ISRL. ISRL also provided us with a platform for valuable interaction with our customers and riding enthusiasts, offering crucial insights into their expectations from Reise Moto products.”
Mr. Mahansaria elaborated on the company’s commitment to motorsports: “Reise has consistently participated in and supported the sport. In the past year alone, we have participated in 20 races with over 50 racers, achieving more than 125 podium finishes. Launching our own team was a natural progression in our vision to connect deeply with the vibrant community of riders and enthusiasts.”
In the 250cc international category, Brendan Sipple of Reise MotoSports led the pack in the initial laps before a fall during a corner cost him positions. Despite the setback, Brendan fiercely battled back to secure 6th place, with his teammate finishing 10th. In Moto 2, Brendan secured 7th place, while his teammate Alex improved his position from the previous race to finish 9th.
In the 250cc India Asia mix category, despite competing with one less racer due to injury, Reise MotoSports’ remaining team member secured 5th place. As the race progressed, track conditions changed, leading to shifts in positions. Despite a crash in the early laps, Shlok displayed resilience and secured 9th place.
In the 85cc category, Reise MotoSports’ junior racers showcased their determination from the start, holding their ground against more experienced competitors. Darshit’s impressive performance earned him 4th place, proving age is no barrier, while Sujan made gains to finish 11th.
In the All Star category, Thomas Ramette and Brendan Sipple navigated through the chaos of mixed-class racing with finesse. Thomas’s strategic approach of steadily overtaking rivals paid off, securing him 3rd place, while Brendan showcased his versatility by finishing in the top 10 with 9th place, despite competing across different classes.
