Renault, Nissan, Datsun Product Launches include all compact vehicles under sub four meter which makes 70% market share when it comes to sales
If there is another manufacturer who is taking the Indian market seriously now apart from Maruti and Hyundai, they are team Renault and Nissan. Nissan has spawned the Datsun brand and is aggressive with it. Renault too has launched the Kwid, the market has taken it well and plans to make more out of it. Over the next two years there will four product launches from these three brands. All these products will be under the sub four meter mark to make the most out and offer customers tax-free and value for money products. We have gathered information for you to tell you what’s next that you can look forward too if you fall under the 70% owners of small cars.
Datsun Go Cross
Launch happens in the year 2017 and the vehicle which has been showcased several times in various other shows internationally and was also done in India at the Auto Expo 2016. Expect this Cross to take on the likes of the MPV segment and go bang on against the Maruti Ertiga when it comes price and category. Expect the 1.5 diesel engine to make it here, making it, quite a competent machine along with the petrol variant.
Nissan Kicks
Now this is the SUV that could restart Nissan’s innings in India as it is the most premium SUV in this category and will go against the like of Hyundai Creta, Renault Duster, Maruti Suzuki S-Cross and upcoming Ssangyong Tiovli. Just around the 4.4 meter mark it is expected to have a lot of space, features and a design that captivates. 1.5 litre diesel and 1.6 l petrol engines in various states of tune can be expected.
