Suzuki V-Strom 250 is a reply to the highly anticipated entry-level adventure motorcycles from Germans and other Japanese motorcycle manufacturers
Suzuki is giving a lot of surprises in the year 2016. The surprises are totally worth it as they are in the entry-level segment. An international volumes segment is the need of the day for the brand that has been quite for some time and hasn’t had much success. Top of the line products are also increasing in every segment with major upgrades or all new products. 150 and 250 segment is all time high and now after faired and naked version, its time for the adventure version to take on the market. A segment growing before its born. Let’ see what Suzuki is set to offer.
Suzuki V-Strom 250 Design and Dimensions
Typical Suzuki styling means its more functional than form. The tank is large and horizontal. The seat is flat and large and offers a lot of comfort on paper. Low seat height is promised as well. Raised windscreen, cool decals on the side in bright colors over the black body color is something sleek and well executed in a simple manner. Large exhaust and fat tyres and suspension add substance to the adventure motorcycle. Suzuki is offering new colours for their new product, which includes – Pearl Nebular Black (YAY) / Solid Dazzling Cool Yellow (YWT) and Metallic Diamond Red (YYW)

Twin tube frame is hidden behind plastics. The suspension is telescopic front forks at the front and rear has an adjustable monoshock. Petal discs on both ends are seen here.
Suzuki V-Strom 250 Price and Launch
India launch could happen in 2018. Pricing could be around Rs. 3 lakh mark.
Suzuki V-Strom 250 Engine And Specification
Engine is Euro 4 and will make around 35 BHP as numbers aren’t out yet. Suzuki says power and torque has been made available in the low and mid range of the motorcycle. Full tank of petrol can give 500 kms.
Suzuki V-Strom 250 Safety and Features
Side case mounts are Custom designed units. There is a 12V DC power outlet for charging and staying connected. Large aluminum rear carrier are here and they provide 8.5kg maximum capacity.
