Tata Hexa Variants, Drivetrain and Specifications Details suggests that Tata will have a Hexa for every type of customer
Tata Motors, the Indian automobile manufacture known for its affordable vehicles and recently extremely well made and high on tech cars. Tata first stepped in the premium SUV space with the Tata Aria, which was launched on Jan 2016. All though ARIA had the technology, space and a huge appealing look it was not successful in the Indian market. Tata have holded themselves back with the ARIA and back in the segment once again with the all new Tata Hexa. The launch of the Tata Hexa has been delayed to Jan 18, 2017. The Tata Hexa is a blend of MPV and SUV that is likely to compete will be the Mahindra XUV 500 and Toyota Innova.
The new Hexa is loaded with features like the four driving modes which are Auto, Comfort. Dynamic and Rough road. It gets projector head lamps, LED tail lamps, 10- speaker JBL audio system and 19-inch alloy wheels. The car is powered by 2.2 litre 4 cylinder VARICOR diesel engine which is tuned to produce either 150 PS with 320 Nm of torque or 156PS with 400 Nm of torque. The engine gets 5-speed, 6-speed manual as well as a 6-speed automatic gearbox. The price range of the Tata Hexa is expected to range from INR 12 lakhs*- INR 18 lakhs*(Ex-showroom).

The TATA Hexa gets 6 seater option like the Toyota Innova but the option is only available in their flagship models. The first service for the Hexa should be done at 5000 km or a period of 3 months, second service should be done at 10,000 km or a period of 6 month, the first three service are free. The company claimant warranty is for a period of 3 years or 1 lakh kilometres and the engine warranty is for a period of 3 years or 1.5 lakh kilometres.
