The Tata Nexon EV 45 kWh variant recently took part in the BNCAP crash tests and, like its counterparts, it excelled—earning a remarkable five-star safety rating. This achievement means that the entire Nexon lineup, encompassing both ICE and EV models, now boasts a five-star safety status.
The Nexon EV 45 comes in four exciting variants: Creative, Fearless, Empowered, and Empowered Plus. In terms of performance, it scored an impressive 29.86 out of 32 points for adult occupant protection. For child occupant protection, it achieved a commendable 44.95 out of 49 points.
The variant tested was the Nexon EV 45 Empowered Plus, which is packed with safety features, including six airbags, TPMS, a 360-degree camera, ABS with EBD, ESC, three-point seat belts with reminders, and ISOFIX child seat mounts.
