Tata Nexon IPL Edition Spotted At A Dealership looks rather well done and should appeal to its audience who love the sport
Tata Nexon is the official car sponsor of the ongoing 2018 Indian Premier League 20:20. Hence Tata Motors has released the Nexon IPL edition, this is a special edition Tata Nexon which is available in a shade of Liquid Silver with decals of the Mumbai Indian Team. This Special Edition Tata Nexon was seen at the company dealership. As of now, there isn’t any clarity if Tata will sell this model to its customers.
Aesthetically, the Tata Nexon IPL Edition gets decals of the Mumbai Indians emblem on the front fenders and the rear boot lid. This model is available in a shade of Liquid Silver with a blue wrap on the roof and pillars. It also gets yellow accents on the front bumpers and blue accents on the rear bumper. At the front, the grille gets a yellow highlight, the fog lamp case gets yellow and white highlights and the hood gets GT stripes on it. On the side, the ORVM’s gets a yellow wrap and the alloy wheels get a hint of yellow.
Mechanically everything on the Tata Nexon IPL Edition remains the same. It is powered by the same 1.2-litre Revotron turbocharged petrol mill that produces 110 bhp of power and 170 Nm of torque. It also gets the 1.5-litre Revotorq turbocharged diesel mill that generates 110 bhp of power and 260 Nm of twist.
With the launch of the Nexon, Tata has seen good results in terms of the sales. Tata Motors will soon launch an AMT gearbox for the Nexon and they have officially started the bookings of it. As we mentioned above that Tata Nexon is the official car sponsor for the 2018 Indian Premier League, the Nexon will be given to the Man of the Series.
