The next instalment in Tata Motors’ product line-up looks promising with the upcoming launch of the Harrier EV and Sierra EV. The first is an electric version of the Harrier SUV that is already on sale, and the second is a new electric car that is expected to be launched next year.
The Tata Sierra EV was unveiled at last year’s Auto Expo and the prototype is nearing production. As can be seen in the picture, this electric SUV is similar to the concept version, but with a masculine look.
Some of the design features include a straight hood, LED headlights, split headlights, black glass, a black front bumper with a silver sill plate, a two-tone roof, hidden door handles and two-tone alloy wheels. In terms of features, the Sierra EV is one of the best SUVs from Tata. The car comes with a large infotainment screen, dual-zone climate control, digital instrument cluster with navigation support, wireless charging, 360-degree surround camera, Level 2 ADAS suite and a large sunroof. Look forward to a 75 kwh battery pack delivering 500 km of range.
The Tata Sierra EV will be launched first, followed by the ICE version. Moreover, both the SUVs are expected to be available in all-wheel drive and rear-wheel drive variants.
