Tata Tigor is the new sedan from Tata and it has been launched in the country at an attractive price tag
Tata finally unveiled the name of the Kite 5 sedan that has been spied multiple by us over the past year. The car has everything it takes to take on its rival and create a new segment as it ducks into the sub four meter segment by a big margin. The Zest touches four meter mark, this doesn’t. The Tigor will be more affordable and offer everything that is seen on the Tiago, a winning formula that Tata has created and is set to get another avatar. We have all the details on the new Tigor. Today, the manufacturer has launched the car at a great price tag, as it makes it a complete package.
Tata Tigor Price – Design and Dimensions
The Tigor is the Kite 5 that has been spied all this time. The design look great and most of it is carried from the Tiago. The front is going to be identical, the side profile has been raised and the rear is all new from the C-Pillar onwards. We expect Tata to give trendy colors to this car to make it stand out. Impact design has been used and Tata is calling it a new ‘Styleback’

Tata Tigor Price – Interior and Features
Interior are going to be identical to the Tiago so expect high quality cabin with similar features and infotainment on offer. Electric ORVM, Harman and Kardon sound system, steering mounted controls and other things will be on offer. Features such as Clutch lock, central locking, speed sending auto door locks, fog lamps, MID in the speedometer and eight speakers. Juke car app, SMS readouts, rear parking camera, Navi Maps, Tata Emergency App, which allows calling contacts in term of an emergency. All apps work on andriod, period. Car has 24 utility spaces are on offer.

Tata launches the car on 29’th March, the price list is as below.

XZ: Rs. 4.7 Lakhs
XZ(o): Rs. 5.4 lakhs
XT: Rs. 5.9 Lakhs
XE: Rs. 6.19 Lakhs
Diesel variants
XZ: Rs. 5.6 Lakhs
XZ(o): Rs. 6.31 lakhs
XT: RS. 6.80 Lakhs
XE: Rs. 7.09 Lakhs
Tata Tigor Engine And Specification
Tiago engines will make it to the engine bay. The 1.04 litre diesel making 67 PS and 140 Nm of torque. The petrol engine will be the 1.2 litre unit which makes 84 PS of power and 113 Nm of torque. The Tigor diesel kerb weight is 1130 kgs whereas the Petrol car tips at 1062 kgs. The tyre size of the diesel and petrol cars are 175/65 R14 and 175/60 R15 respectively. Both engines get balance shafts, multi drive modes, in both cars on all variants.
