Toyota Kirloskar Motor has begun deliveries of its flagship offering, the Land Cruiser LC300 SUV. Bookings for the LC300 began in August last year for an asking price of Rs 2.10 crore (ex-showroom) and deliveries have only commenced now. The new-generation Land Cruiser was announced globally last year and has witnessed surging demand across multiple markets.

The LC300 SUV was also showcased at the Auto Expo 2023, marking the model’s public debut in India. The India-spec version draws power from the 3.3-litre V6 diesel engine tuned for 305 bhp and 700 Nm of peak torque. The oil burner is paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission that sends power to all four wheels.

The new Land Cruiser LC300 is big, brawny and mighty. The model gets an evolutionary update in terms of design and gets a massive grille with horizontal slats. The SUV also comes with sweptback LED headlamps with L-shaped LED DRLs. The LED treatment extends to the fog lights as well. The boxy styling may not be the most visually appealing but the model gets loads of space in the cabin while the road presence surely grabs everyone’s attention. The LC300 rides on 20-inch alloy wheels as standard.

The 2023 Toyota Land Cruiser LC300 arrives in India as a seven-seater and is packed with features and tech updates. This includes the 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, multiple terrain modes, 10 airbags, TPMS, VSC and more. Toyota brings the Land Cruiser LC300 to India via the Completely Built Unit (CBU) route. This means that the next batch of the LC300 will get expensive in light of the recent customs duty hike on fully imported cars.
