Triumph Bonneville Bobber India launch just months after the international unveils shows that the brand is extremely serious in the Indian market
Triumph has begun the year 2017 finally and it has done it with a bang, a retro bang. The motorcycle manufacturer has finally bought in its fisrt motorcycle and it is no other than the Bonneville Bobber. The motorcycle is based on the Bonneville platform which has spawned almost more than half a dozen motorcycles. The engine and chassis remain most likely similar but in different state of tune to address the needs of each motorcycle and their prospective buyers. Bonneville Bobber is the ultimate hot rod motorcycle you will need. It is yet another edition in the retro modern lineup vehicle that the British manufacturer has.
Triumph Bonneville Bobber Design and Dimensions
The Bobber is a motorcycle for just the rider as the highlight is the single seat here. The tank and the other parts are taken from various motorcycles in the same category of Triumph. The rear has a large steel old-school mudguard which enhances the Bobber tradition. The completely flat handlebars, the round headlight and other aspects such as spoked wheels and large tyres remind of the old school bike. The bike is set to come with 50 accessories which are avaiable for all the areas, right from the seats, detailing and exhaust.
Triumph Bonneville Bobber Chassis, suspension and brakes
The brakes on the Bobber are 310mm disc at the front with 2-piston floating caliper and the rear has a 255mm disc at the rear with a single piston floating caliper on offer. Suspension is 41 mm KYB front forks with 90 mm travel, while the rear gets also gets KYB monoshock with linkage type mounting that offers 76.9 mm of rear wheel travel.

First launch for Triumph in the year 2017, the price begin at Rs. 9.09 lakhs.
Triumph Bonneville Bobber India Engine And Specification
The same 1,200 cc parallel-twin unit that powers the T120 is seen here as well. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. However, the engine has been retuned to churn out 76 BHP @ 6100 RPM and 106 Nm of torque @ 4000 RPM. Bobber is down 4 PS over the T120. Triumph is offering ride by wire and two riding modes on the bike. There is assist (not slipper) clutch to make the clutch light and progressive.
