UM Motorcycle Guwahati Showroom Goes Live, Has Bookings and Demand Already to fulfill, said the manufacturer in a statement
UM Motorcycles along with Lohia Auto today made its entry in North East India as it inaugurated its dealership in the picturesque town of Guwahati. The dealership, located at T.N. Tower, Near LCB College, Maligaon was inaugurated by Mr. Rajeev Mishra, CEO UM Lohia Two Wheelers Pvt. Ltd in the presence of Mr. Kishor Jain, Sorav Jain & Ranjay Kumar Jain and other dignitaries and guests. The first dealership of North East India will be spread over a total of 750 sq. ft. area.
The floor shall include an area for interacting with customers, and an area to provide the best after sales service and support. Customers will also have the luxury of buying all UM branded accessories from this dealership as well. UM Motorcycles recently announced 24×7 Roadside Assistance Programme (RSA) will also be available for all customers in Guwahati with immediate effect.
UM Motorcycles said that the North-Eastern market contributes to as much as 35% of the total two-wheeler segment in India, hence it was imperative that they expand their footprint in this region. Guwahati is the first dealership, we have inaugurated in North East India and we plan to have a presence in each of the seven sister states as well. The level of interest in the UM brand in Guwahati has been very positive. UM Motorcycles investment in the showroom and workshop as already been rewarded by confirming orders which we have received prior to the inauguration.
UM Motorcycles has the same Renegade Commando and Sports S powered by a 280 cc engine with 25 BHP at 8,500 rpm and 21.8 Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm, mated to a six-speed transmission. This lightweight machine has a 200 mm ground clearance. Features include a inbuilt USB charging point. The Renegade Commando will be available at Rs. 1.74 lakhs (ex-showroom, Guwahati).
The Renegade Commando and its sibling Renegade Sports S come with an electric start. An innovative feature called Service Alert Maintenance comes as a standard fitment in both Renegade Commando and Renegade Sports S.The LED Lights come as a standard in Sports S version. These motorcycles have a fuel tank of 18 liters with a kerb weight of 172 Kg. The Renegade Sports S is available at Rs. 1.68lakhs (ex-showroom, Guwahati).
