Yamaha Opens 80 Blue Square Showroom – Reveals Call of Blue Version 3

India Yamaha Motor today announced the launch of 5 new premium Blue Square showrooms in West Bengal and Tamil Nadu. Two new “Blue Square” outlets in Tamil Nadu. Both the “Blue Square” showrooms – ‘Vedha Moto Corp’ in Kagithapatarai, Vellore, and ‘Sri Bhuvaneshwari Motors’ in Srinivasapuram, Mayiladuthurai. Meanwhile three have opened in Kolkata. The Vedha Moto Corp showroom is spread across 1484 sq.ft, while the facility at Sri Bhuvaneshwari Motors is set up across 1615 sq.ft.

The state-of-the-art Blue Square showrooms embed Yamaha’s racing DNA of excitement, style & sportiness, and are launched under the banner of ‘Paul Automobiles’ in Maheshtala (1460 sq.ft), ‘Aquad Ventures’ in Kamarhati (1589 sq.ft) and ‘Mahansaria & Sons’ in Baruipur (1659 sq.ft). All 3 showrooms are designed to offer end-to-end sales, service, and spares support.

The announcement comes in line with Yamaha’s commitment to strengthen its premium retail footprint in the Indian market, to ensure that every customer gets to experience a supreme buying and ownership experience.

A Blue Square showroom is a customer’s gateway into the world of Yamaha Racing, and every section in the premium outlet is designed to evoke a sense of pride, of being associated with a global brand with strong roots in international motorsports. This has allowed the brand to form an instant connect with its customers, as ‘Blue’ is a representation of the Yamaha’s proud racing legacy and ‘Square’ symbolizes a platform created for customers to connect with the brand’s philosophy of offering ‘Exciting, sporty and stylish’ range of products.

Apart from the AEROX 155 that is exclusively sold through Blue Square, the premium outlets also showcase an attractive display of other Yamaha motorcycles and scooters followed by genuine accessories, apparels, and spare parts. The showrooms also serve as a platform for customers to be a part of the Blue Streaks rider community, through which they can interact with like-minded riders and experience their Yamaha machines together.

With the newly launched outlets, Yamaha currently has 7 Blue Square showrooms operational in West Bengal and 25 in Tamil Nadu. In total, the premium Blue Square showroom footprint across India stands at 80 outlets, with showrooms in Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry, Karnataka, Jharkhand, Orissa, Assam, Madhya Pradesh, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Jammu & Kashmir, Chhattisgarh, Bihar, Delhi, and other North-Eastern States.

Also, After successfully positioning itself as a global brand with a strong racing heritage, under ‘The Call of the Blue’ campaign, India Yamaha Motor Pvt. Ltd. today launched the 3rd Version of the national brand campaign, to elevate its image by intensifying the aspirational value through engaging customer centric activities and launches.

Since 2018, with the announcement of each phase of ‘The Call of the Blue’ brand campaign, the company has been executing its product planning, marketing, and customer engagement strategies in line with the brand’s global image of ‘Excitement, Style and Sportiness’. As a result, 8 new global products were introduced with a focus on the premium segment. This led to an impressive rise of Yamaha’s market share in the premium motorcycle segment, moving up from 10 percent in 2018 to 15 percent in 2021.

On this occasion, Chairman of Yamaha Motor India Group of companies, Mr. Eishin Chihana said, “In India, ‘The Call of the Blue’ brand campaign has played a significant role in positioning Yamaha as a premium brand with strong racing heritage. A new brand campaign film on ‘The Call of the Blue’ Version 3.0 was also released today. The film portrays the aspiration levels of owning a Yamaha and how every Yamaha product enriches the lifestyle of the youth from different walks of life. It also showcases how the aspirations of the youth turn into reality, as they ride together to create new memories and evolve with “The Call of the Blue”.

Under this refreshing brand campaign, Yamaha is further revving up the excitement quotient, offering a premium ownership experience to all its customers by organizing engagement activities like – ‘The Call of the Blue Track Day’, ‘Blue Streaks’ Ride and ‘The Call of the Blue Weekend’.

Also, to amplify its presence in the premium segment, the company is aggressively expanding its current network of over 80 Blue Square showrooms, offering its customers a platform to interact with the brand and enjoy unique buying and ownership experience. Currently, India Yamaha operates with 1800 plus Touch Points across India.
