Aesthetically, the Moto GP edition R15 V3 gets the graphics from Yamaha Racing Team bikes. Also, it gets a racing blue paint scheme. The Moviestar logo can be seen on the front cowl and side panels, on the other hand, the EEOS logo is printed on the engine belly pan. While the rest of the body gets the Yamalube logo printed on it. In terms of design, there are no changes in comparison with the standard R15 V3.

It continues to be powered with the 155cc, single cylinder, four-stroke, fuel injected petrol engine. This mill is coupled to a six-speed manual transmission which also boasts of a slipper clutch. Together it generates 19 bhp of power and 14.7 NM of twist

This bike gets a dedicated riding position which is the biggest plus point and it is the cheapest bike available on which you can hit the tracks.
The introduction of the all-new YZF-R15 Version 3.0 Moto GP Limited Edition in ‘Yamaha Racing Blue’ colour gets Yamaha Moto GP branding on the fairing, tank and side panels that outlines its typical Yamaha Livery. Retaining the same mechanical features of YZF-R15 Version 3.0, the YZF-R15 Version 3.0 Moto GP limited edition priced at Rs. 1,30,000/- (Ex-Showroom Delhi) will have to be booked online through www.yamahar15v3motogpedition.com.
